Accomplishments: The list of achievements for this Water Polo star stretches long and far. Of note, Johnny is on the all time lists at Choate for Goals among other statistics. Last year, he won the Excellence in Water Polo award. In the past, Johnny has also played for one of the top club team’s in the nation, the Lamorinda Club Team based in California.

Most Memorable Moment: “Beating Hotchkiss just a couple weeks ago was one of the best moments of the year, and of my career so far.”

Off-Season training: When Water Polo season is not going on the Co-Captain is usually doing a lot of swimming to stay in shape for water polo along with a lot of weightlifting.

Favorite Pre-Game Meal: “Pretty much anything that’s light such as a Power Bar or a bagel.” Choate defeated Hotchkiss 9-6 with the help of Johnny’s three goals in overtime.

Pre-game Rituals: To get ready for each game, Johnny simply hangs around his teammates.

Future Aspirations: “I hope to play Water Polo in college, most likely at the Division One level.”
