This past Wednesday, at the Boys Varsity Track meet against NMH, Uchenna swept the 200m race, finishing first with a time of 22.8 seconds. He also posted a stunning time for the 100m, sprinting across the finish line after 11.02 seconds. Although Uchenna admits he began the season with a weak performance, he is now in a position where he believes that finishing in the top three at Founders is an achievable goal
Kelly Walsh ’09
The Varsity Girls Lacrosse team relies on Kelly each week to lead them on offense and show her worth on the field. The team beat Westminster, a tough opponent, last week in an action-packed game that ended with an 11-9 victory. Kelly’s impressive statistics stand at 29 goals and 6 assists this season. Coach Amanda Belichick says, “Kelly is probably our biggest offensive threat, consistently helping to carry the attack.” Coach Belichick is counting on Kelly to continue her winning ways as the team’s season winds down.
