Senior’s Valentine’s Day Dance

Seniors will be having a Valentine’s Day dance this coming Thursday. It will last from nine to ten-thirty, which means seniors have extended curfew on Thursday night. Students on bounds or restriction will be permitted attend the dance after nine PM but must go directly home after it’s culmination.

Daily Grind

The Daily Grind continues to sell gift certificates. They make great presents and are at a minimum of $1. Students who bring their own mugs can take advantage of the buy three get one free offer. In addition, the Daily Grind continues to host live performances by student groups, such as, Whimawehs, Maiyeros, Lilith, and Kapraphones. They continue to make large profits towards the rebuilding of a well in Niger, a project initiated by juniors Bowen Kelley ’09, Miles Cozart ’09, and Andrew Kim ’09.

Green Cup Challenge

The Green Cup Challenge enters its second week. This week we saved a cut our energy down by 13%. The Student Council reminds everyone to keep up the good work so that we can have a President’s day in the spring term. This can be done by unplugging your chargers, printing double sided, and turning off lights.

Choate Hammocks

They are on the way! Hopefully they will be here by the spring term.
