In its November 16 edition, The News printed a story
reporting that Virginia Senator John Warner would be this year's
Commencement speaker. The story, based on a November 9 email received by
two Student Council members that was seen by a News editor, was erroneous.
We apologize for this error. News editors should have confirmed the
contents of this email before including it in the paper.
