Ray Hunter, also known as “Cobraman,” was hospitalized for his forty-fourth venomous snake bite. A five and a half foot eastern diamondback rattlesnake, which he had gotten from animal control, bit him as he was cleaning its cage. Hunter drove himself near the hospital and then passed out behind the wheel.

Pat Mohberg, a resident of Brooklyn, set up a website, www.nygirlofmydreams.com, searching for a woman he had fallen in love with at first sight across a crowded subway. Mohberg eventually found the girl through responses to the website.

Jones’ soda Co. will release limited edition holiday flavors of soda this Sunday. The Christmas flavors of the soda include Sugar Plum, Christmas Tree, Egg Nog, and Christmas Ham, and the Hanukkah flavors include Applesauce, Latkes, Jelly Doughnut, and Chocolate Coins.

A bride is suing a flower company for more than $400,000 in damages because she claims the company used pastel pink and green hydrangeas instead of the “dark rust and green” hydrangeas she had asked for in the centerpieces of her wedding reception.
