The Boar Report

It was a fantastic weekend for the Boys Water Polo who beat the Big Blue 17-8. The water polo squad was the only varsity team to win at Andover Day. Within the first minute and a half, the team scored three quick goals. From then on, the Boars managed to keep their lead until the end of the match. The team will travel to Greenwich High School to participate in the Cardinal Water Polo Tournament this weekend.

Field Hockey failed to add another victory to its record last Saturday against Andover. Choate dominated the first half until the Big Blue scored a goal about a minute before half time. In the second half, the Boars came out strong, and Captain Caroline Shumway ’08 tied the game at 1-1. The remainder of the game was close until Andover was able to score the winning goal.The girls will travel to Taft this weekend.

Boys Cross Country suffered its first loss last Sunday at Andover. The boys competed until the end of the race, but the Big Blue left with a 32-25 victory over the Boars. After having a day off on Monday, the team will host Deerfield and Loomis Chaffee this weekend.
